In fact, Taylor Swift brought her own security detail to her SNL monologue, and got to slam Joe Jonas in her SNL monologue song to boot. After that, Taylor Swift moved on to sing, crack jokes, and take down Kate Gosselin while she was at it.

Even Twilight got a few SNL plugs, although New Moon won't come out for another two weeks. Swift had no comments in her monologue song about dating "the werewolf from Twilight" a.k.a Taylor Lautner, and an SNL digital short parodied Twilight with Frankenstein monsters.
On the news front, FOX News's glee at the 2009 elections was spoofed in the cold opening, which included SNL's second parody of Glenn Beck. Amy Poehler returned for another Weekend Update "Really?!?" segment with Seth Myers, in which they bashed Goldman Sachs for getting the swine flu vaccine before hospitals and schools did.
