Even if you're not an A list invitee to the Oscar's this year you might get closer to the action than you think by attending any one of several Oscar Viewing Parties happening somewhere in your area. The 78th Annual Academy Awards takes place Sunday, March 5, at Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. It will be carried live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5 pm PST, preceded by a one-hour red carpet arrivals show. And there are options to this show that seemingly attempt to move in synch with the Hollywood affair.
