I'm not good at poetry,
But I'm going to give it a go.
You're a great mom,
And I love you so.

From the time I was a baby,
You would hold me when I cried.
And through all of life's heartbreaks,
You were always by my side.

You gave me life,
And taught me right from wrong.
Although I often messed up,
You were there all along.

When I became a mother,
You were again by my side.
I know you are a great friend,
In which, I can always confide.

As much as I wish,
I cannot see you everyday.
But, I know you are never more,
Than a phone call away.

I love you, mom. Happy Mother's Day!

To My Mother

Very touching...and keep writing poetry, please. I think you're better at it than you realize.
