Sesame Street Google Images Reach Final Countdown
The Sesame Street Google images have provided a whole week of Sesame Street nostalgia. But the Sesame Street Google images won't be around after tomorrow, after the Sesame Street 40'th anniversary episode airs. So the Sesame Street Google images fittingly made the Count today's guest of honor, as the final countdown nears to the Sesame Street birthday party. As such, today's Sesame Street Google image doesn't have a character standing in for a Google letter, since the Count has turned those letters into numbers.
The Count Sesame Street Google image has the counting vampire standing next to a 6, two 0's, an 8, a 1, and a backwards 3. Of course, those numbers make up Google, though the Count may be too busy counting it to notice. The Count also must have noticed that he is the seventh character on Sesame Street's Google images this week, after Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie, Oscar and Elmo.
The Sesame Street Google images have crossed off almost all of the iconic figures from the beloved show. The Count was one of the few big names left, as he finally gets recognized for being ahead of his time. Well before the vampires of True Blood and The Vampire Diaries took over television, the Count set the trend of TV vampires decades earlier.
The Count isn't like traditional vampires - but then again, neither are any of the other vampires around today. Instead of drinking blood, brooding over young girls, or fighting werewolves, the Count just likes to count things and cackle to the sound of thunder. The Count would never hurt a fly, although he probably isn't too fond of the number 0.
With the Count counted off the Sesame Street Google images checklist, there is now only one more day left for this theme. Tomorrow is the 40'th anniversary show, so Google may have a big image set to mark the occasion. However, there are now almost no really famous Sesame Street characters left to use, except for Grover and Mumford. Most likely, Grover will play a part in tomorrow's Sesame Street logo in some way.
