Mary Kay's TimeWise Microdermabrasion Set and Sheer Miracle's Microdermabrasion Miracle Peel Cloth both claim to exfoliate the top layer of the skin therefore reducing fine lines, wrinkles and pores. This is where the similarities stop!

Mary Kay's TimeWise Microdermabrasion Set is a liquid two-step process that is used after washing your face. After washing you leave your face damp and massage the gristly 'refine' step cream into your skin. You then rinse, dry and apply the thin, moisturizing 'replinish' step.

When using Sheer Miracle's Miracle Peel Cloth for exfoliation you simply use the cloth to gently scrub your face while washing with your regular cleanser. You can then follow with the Sheer Miracle Emu Oil or your regular moisturizer. Sound simple? That's because it is.

Now we can get down to results. I used Mary Kay's TimeWise Microdermabrasion Set for three years. I'm a big fan of Mary Kay products and have been very loyal for some time now. The TimeWise Microdermabrasion Set did shrink my poors. It did make my skin smoother. I'm not to that stage in my life yet, but I imagine that it would even reduce fine lines to some degree. One negative effect of the Microdermabrasion Set was the redness. The chemicals were harsh on my skin and my face would be red for up to 48 hours.

One important thing the Mary Kay TimeWise Microdermabrasion Set didn't do is reduce acne or acne scars. In fact new blemishes seemed to pop up every time I used the Microdermabrasion Set. Since this is my skin's weakness I knew I needed something different.

After using Sheer Miracle's Mineral Make-up and Emu Oil and being pleased with the results I stumbled upon the Sheer Miracle Microdermabrasion Miracle Peel Cloth on their website. (www.sheermiracle.com) I thught I would give it a shot. Afterall, I'd been pleased with their other products. I normally buy everything through Ebay if I can get it cheaper there so I automatically checked with my dealer's Ebay Store to see if they had any in stock-- and they did.
