Agassi's Memoirs - Brilliant Mistake ?

4
Andre Agassi's revelations in his autobiography 'OPEN' have determined the world anti doping agency WADA , to investigate whether the US tennis icon can be charged , after admitting he used crystal meth in 1997 , a drug existent on the banned list . Interesting how this book uncovered his dark secret exactly after the statute of limitations , the eight year bar, expired. So now he can't really be punished for his declarations on a sporting level.
A series of questions arises: Why did Andre pick this timing for unveiling his book, did he need the extra buck and publicity , did he feel the fans started to forget about him and he wanted to stir things up again, or maybe the moment when he awarded Roger Federer his French Open crown made him think he went down a step in the ladder of history being surpassed by the Swiss tennis machine?

Maybe Agassi felt that his glorious career was just a short whisper through the silence of eternity. This is the only rational way to explain Andre's desire for compassion after realising what the content of the book brought to light.

At this point, i'm sure Steffi Graf's husband, realised his mistake and he's now thinking about a second book which will deny the doping admittance of the first one. The title of his new found memoirs will probably be : 'If I Did It, Here's How It Happened' , I'm sure he won't have any copyright issues with OJ Simpson .
