I first discovered MAC Lipglass earlier last year by a male friend who does makeup for a living. We had a conversation about lip gloss and he proceeded to inform me about MAC's lipglass and how wonderful the product is. He was 100% right. Overall, I am very impressed with MAC Lipglass. Based on what he told me, was enough to sway me, but of course I still wasn't convinced.

It wasn't until I tried it, for me to be completely swayed into enjoying this product for what it is. The effect is very dramatic, for as lightweight as the gloss is. The lip color is more on a gloss wavelength, but isn't heavy for as visible as it is. My lips felt truly moisturized, without feeling sticky or the need to re-apply. What made me truly fall in love with MAC Lipglass was it's "stay put" factor, as it managed to stay on for quite a long. In fact, I didn't reapply this product to my lips for the entire day and it managed to stay.

I've read reviews about this product throughout the world wide web and have noticed no one has anything really bad to say about MAC Lipglass. Does MAC Lipglass have any weaknesses? I guess, if you are riding in a convertible or going for a jog in the wind and you apply lipglass before doing so, your hair may stick, but do you know of a lip gloss (in this case "lipglass") that doesn't do that?

The good clearly exceeds any bad, but the problem is, I have trouble finding any bad at all in MAC Lipglass. In comparison to most lip glosses I own, it is above average. This product is not edible, hence why it doesn't possess a moderate flavor, but does possess rather unique scent that reminded me of a vanilla based cotton candy, which was truly pleasant.

This product isn't something I recommend to anyone who is looking for a lip gloss under $10 nor is this recommended to those who are pro towards the lip stick combination. I also don't recommend this product for anyone who doesn't like the look of glaze on your lips or isn't a lip gloss fan. Although, if you aren't a true lip gloss fan, you may learn to appreciate MAC Lipglass for it's unique originality and benefits. This product is for anyone who appreciates a great, quality gloss.

While darker colors of lip gloss (usually solids) make your lips appear smaller, lighter colors (usually frosts or solids) make your lips appear larger.
