My Favorite Christmas Movies

The Holidays are rolling around once again and pretty soon we will be forced to decide what Christmas Movies we should sit through again this year. Indulge me just one moment and let me tell you what my favorite Christmas Movies are and why and maybe, just maybe there will be something on my Christmas list that you may want to view.

My number one pick is everyone's old favorite.

A Christmas Story starring Melinda Dillon, Darren McGavin, Peter Billingsley, Ian Petrella and Scott Schwartz. Based in 1940 this movie really makes you remember what it was like to be a child waiting on Christmas morning.

Miracle on 34th Street another classic starring Natalie Wood, Maureen O'Hara, John Payne, Edmund Gwenn and Gene Lockhart. This movie year after year touches my heart with warmth and reminds me of the magic of Christmas and that wishes and dreams can come true.

It's A Wonderful Life is certainly a wonderful family favorite starring James Stewart, Donna Reed, Frank Albertson, Lionel Barrymore, Thomas Mitchell, Ward Bon, Beulah Bondi and Henry Travers. Watching It's a Wonderful Life will bring back memories of your own Christmas Past just as it does for me year after year.

Home Alone 1 starring Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, Catherine O'Hara, John Heard, Roberts Blossom and John Candy. This movie brings me back to a time when I was busy raising my own family and creating Christmas memories to cherish forever. Catch Home Alone 1 with your own family and enjoy.

Home Alone 2 starring Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern, Catherine O'Hara and John Heard. I am not usually one to enjoy sequels but I do enjoy this one, which takes place in New York City. Growing up on Long Island I loved the city during the Holiday Season and Home Alone 2 reminds me of that.

Ebbie is a wonderful Christmas Movie starring Susan Lucci. This movie mirrors A Christmas Carol with Ebbie being the female side of Ebenezer. This is an adorable movie and Susan Lucci does a wonderful job in it. If you like old classic and soap stars, this is a must view for you.
