Renaissance Fairs in California in May

Come, all ye knights and ladies, to a medieval celebration! Renaissance fairs provide fine adventures for all ages! And there are a number to attend in California in the month of May.

Cains Crossing Renaissance Faire - Located approximately 45 miles north of Sacramento in Auburn, California. This fair is held May 12th - May 13th from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm on Saturday and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday, with a special students-only School Day on Friday May 11th from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students ages 5 - 12 and seniors, and free for children under age 4. Those who wish to dress in period attire will be required to keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. Highlights include captivating music and dancing, and dramatic sword fighting.
