Will There Be a "How to Start a War" Workshop?
Recently, Condoleezza Rice and former National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley will form a "strategic " consulting firm together. As these two former Bush administration officials are well connect both inside academia and with former Bush administration members, their consulting firm will likely be a success. However, I wonder, exactly what will they be consulting on?What exactly is a "strategic" consulting firm, and why would Rice and Hadley claim to have expert experience? Considering that the Bush administration's record abroad has been heavily criticized, I have a couple of guesses concerning what the Rice/Hadley consulting firm will specialize in:
1. How to start a war and alienate allies abroad. A guide to running the world for dummies.
2. How to hunt down "evil doers." This would include a special presentation for a fee by former President George Bush on how evil doers are lurking in many of the world's darker corners.
3. Why global warming isn't something to be worried about and how your business can profit from it.
4. How to subvert the Constitution and/or federal law.
5. How to avoid the Press.
6. How to build a secret underground bunker in your backyard from which you can plot to take over the world. Special presentation by Dick Cheney can be arranged for a fee.
7. How to shoot your frenemy in the face and get away with it, special presentation by Dick Cheney for a fee.
8. Each client gets a free "yellow cake" in addition to free participation in the annual "Find the Easter Egg of Mass Destruction" Hunt at Rice's home.
