2012 - The Oscar Crawford Perspective
Preoccupied with the End of Time
"On the winter solstice in 2012, the sun will be aligned with the center of the Milky Way for the first time in about 26,000 years. This means that "whatever energy typically streams to Earth from the center of the Milky Way will indeed be disrupted on 12/21/12 at 11:11 p.m. Universal Time."Lawrence Joseph
Since the coming of the common era, a community of humanity has been preoccupied with the end of days or the end of time. These see signs all about them of the coming end. These have become known throughout the ages as the doomsday prophets.
Jean Dixon predicted the Island of Crete would sink into the Meditteranean during the early 1970's. I lived there at the time. People went about their lives aware of the prophecy. Life doesn't end because someone says it will.
The likes of Dixon, Nostradamus and others generate media fodder that start blazes like the fires ravaging California. The match is lit. The fire begins and spreads and few take the time to do source of origin research.
The end of the second millennium of the common era, midnight of 1999 becoming 200 was supposed to end the running computer software programs and humanity itself. The fabulous bed and breakfast Luna Vista nestled in Northern Arizona stands testament to the belief of one that believed the world would end.
The world did not end. The builder got on with life and Frank and Kala Pearson siezed an opportunity to create beauty out of what had been end time madness. Frank and Kala have made Luna Vista a bit of heaven on Earth.
Books and films are now taking the record of ancient mesoamerican (MAYAN) culture to prophesy and prognosticate the end of the world. The coming blockbuster 2012 reveals havoc released upon the beloved Earth while some consider again the cosmic software program reaches its conclusion.
As a species, humans are preoccupied with the future and the past while struggling to properly manage the present. The astronomer Philip Platt presents information about the Mayan Calendar reported to end at 2311 hours or 11:11 PM December 21, 2012.
- Humans are preoccupied with the future and the past.
- Humans struggle with the future.
- Has the cosmic software program signalled a processing end?
