Roisin O'Neill Formally Sentenced for the Death of Patricia Wagoneer
O'Neill Offspring Kills Again
This family's words say they are sorry, but actions speak volumes. After each arrest while out on bail awaiting trial, there were violations. I want to know what's going to happen next. After sentences are served, it is obvious that if they continue to abuse alcohol, many more will suffer.Roisin O'Neill
Roisin O'Neill decided to take fate into her own hands the early morning of September 12, 2008 when she decided to drive home from a local bar while intoxicated. Miss O'Neill had arrived at a bar in Ardmore, PA reportedly shortly after 10 pm on September 11, 2008. A short while later, just after midnight Roisin had stepped outside to have a cigarette. Upon trying to re-enter the bar, the bouncer saw she was visibly intoxicated and refused re-admission to the bar. The bouncer offered to get her a cab, but she refused saying she'd wait for her friends.
Unfortunately instead of waiting for her friends, she climbed behind the wheel. Roisin O'Neill drove to route 476, known locally as "The Blue Route" and entered an exit ramp. She continued, speeding north in the southbound lanes for a little over three miles. This tragically ended at 12:55 AM, September 12, 2008 when she collided with a car being driven by Patricia Wagoneer. The impact "was so severe that the engine of O'Neill's car was dislodged before her car finally came to rest"-Carl Hessler Jr. Daily Times reporter says.
While Roisin was out on bail awaiting her trial, she violated curfew conditions of her bail. Police say they were conducting a sobriety check point an April 25, 2009 when they found her to be a passenger in a Cadillac Escalade with seven other people, all underage and being driven by her brother who is on house arrest for murdering Scott Sheridan at a party at the O'Neil's residence. Six of the people in the Escalade got citations for underage drinking. One of the seven underage people in the car was Roisin and Sean Jr.'s younger sister.
