Black Friday in Bergen County promises to be a day of unbelievable deals and discounts. All of the prices and sale information here is from http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/, I've filtered through the website and picked out whatever applies to Bergen County. That should help my fellow residents of Bergen County plan their Black Friday shopping sprees. A lot of these stores are in the main shopping area in Bergen County which is in Paramus on route 17 and some of Route 4.
On Route 17 you will find the massive Garden State Plaza with endless stores and restaurants as well as a huge movie complex. One extremely popular store is Old Navy, located on the route 17 side of the mall between Macy's and Nordstrom. Old Navy will be lowering prices drastically for black Friday and Saturday. ALL adult jeans will be $15 and all children jeans will be $10, 50% off all outer ware, so you really must run there. They are going to open at 3 am so if you go for extreme Black Friday shopping don't bother sleeping.
After Old Navy you have until 5 am to get to Target on route 4 east in the Bergen Mall. There are other Target stores in Bergen County but this store is in the area of the Paramus shopping centers and stores. The Paramus Target is large and well stocked. On Black Friday, Target is going to sell some small kitchen appliances for $3!! An RCA portable DVD player will be $49! Infant/toddler clothing will be $3-8, buy a a lot of outfits and you'll have baby gifts to last awhile.
The late riser of the day for Black Friday is the Bergen County Kmart on route 17 south which will be opening at 6 am. There will be incredible prices on just about everything from clothing (many if not most under $10), electronics-, Music CDs (3.99), Kodak Digital camera 79.99, housewares, everything you could possibly need will be discounted. Expect huge crowds, Kmart is a popular store even though it's way up there on Route 17 .
