Where I live in North Attleboro, it's very close to the Plainville, MA line. Rte. 152 is only minutes away and it's the opposite direction on Rte. 1 so you can bypass any mall traffic you might otherwise hit if you went to other places. I chose 3 options because these are three I have used in the past few years and would recommend. The 3 are very different, but offer different attributes depending upon what is most important for you this year.

So here are my choices for Christmas Tree shopping in the North Attleboro and Plainville areas. All three are located on the same road and within feet of each other.

1. Shepardville Tree Farm - Tag your own

This tree farm is in a grassy area next to a cemetery off of Rte. 152 in Plainville, MA. It's a large area that continues acres back from the road into the woods. You walk around the fields they have segregated off by type of tree and once you have decided on one, you tag it and they will cut it down for you. Pre-tagging is also available. Comes in handy if you go the day after Thanksgiving just to ensure you get the "best and fullest" Christmas tree but don't want to actually pick it up until a late date.

1. Boston Tropical Tree - Quality and Selection, pre-cut

I utilized their tree selection last year and I was very happy. They are located at the corner of the intersection of Rte. 1 and Rte. 152 across from Lowe's in Plainville, MA. In addition to having a variety of Christmas trees, they also have wreaths, poinsettias and lots more for any of your holiday decorating needs. Their prices are very reasonable.
