Las Vegas on a Budget: Free Shows and Activities in the City of Sin
There Are a Number of Free Activities and Shows to Take Advantage of in Las Vegas
Traveling to Las Vegas can be an expensive endeavor. The headliner shows on the strip often run more than $60 dollars per person, not to mention the airfare hotel and taxi rides. Good thing that there are plenty of free shows and activities to see on the strip on any given day. I will outline 5 free activities you can enjoy on your next visit to Las Vegas, NV.The Fountains at Bellagio
One of my absolute favorite things to do while visiting the strip is relaxing against the handrail alongside the man-made lake taking in the spectacular fountains at Bellagio. Even if you have not visited Las Vegas in person you may have caught a glimpse of these fountains in front of the Bellagio hotel and casino. They are featured on nearly every fly-over of the las vegas strip on television and in movies. The jets of water are timed to a selected soundtrack which is tastefully selected and changed to match the season. For instance if you visit Las Vegas around the holidays, there will be a holiday song played for the jets to follow along to.

Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens
Another free activity can be found at the Bellagio, just off the strip you will find one of the most beautifully fashioned gardens on the planet. It is truly a site to see. The Conservatory is changed to match the season, during the holiday season you can expect to find any number of Christmas trees decorated like you have never seen. This attraction is open 24/7 every day of the year.
Statue Shows in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace
This is actually two free shows in one place. The forum shops at Caesars Palace have two talking statue shows which take place hourly in two rotundas in the mall. Go for a walk in this wonderfully decorated shopping mall and watch these ancient roman statues come alive before your eyes!
