Today, Nov. 16, 2009 it is being widely reported by every news source that the body of missing 5 year old Shaniya Davis was found at approximately 1:15pm near Walker Road and Hwy. 87 in Sanford, NC. Just last Tuesday, Nov. 10th, little 5 year old Shaniya Davis was reported missing by her mother. They were from the small town, Fayetteville, NC. Police immediately began to search the nearby and surrounding woods. Then a hotel worker spotted a child matching Shaniya's description at a Sanford Hotel, nearly forty miles from Fayetteville and that lead to hotel camera footage that showed a man, Mario Andrette McNeill carrying the little girl into a hotel room. Then on Friday, McNeill was arrested and charged with kidnapping.
Saturday night, Nov. 13th 2009 Antoinette Nicole Davis arrested and charged
According to an article in The Raleigh Headlines Examiner, the mother of 5 year old Shaniya Davis was officially charged with human trafficking, felony child abuse, prostitution, filing a false police report, resisting, delaying and obstructing a police officer has been placed in a Cumberland County Detention Center on a $51,000 bond. I think this bond is way too low. It is believed that Antoinette traded her 5 year old daughter to McNeill in exchange for drugs or cash.
Monday, Nov. 16th 2009 Shaniya Davis' body found
Acting on a tip, police found little Shaniya's body today around 1: 15pm near Walker Road and Hwy. 87 in Sanford N.C. The location where she was found was approx. 6 miles from the Comfort Suite Hotel where she was last seen on hotel camera footage in the arms of Mario Andrette McNeill, who was involved in an apparent human trafficking and prostitution deal with Shaniya's mother Antoinette.

this story is so gross imagin how scared little shaniya was to go with that #!%*@ guy! THE guy and mom should BOTH GET BEATENED EVERY DAY IN JAIL AND SUFFER .shaniya was 5 and she had to go threw all that and i heard they found her favorite blanket in the trash covered with poop.

This whole situation just saddens me. I have a little girl myself and I would never ever think of doing this cruelty to her. A child is a blessing to have. Shaniya's mother and the man that killed her both need to feel the pain that this poor child had to endure and go through. It sickens me to my stomach to even know that this helpless innocent child was raped and murdered and her mother could have kept her safe. They both should be put to death.

It saddens and scares me that monster%27s are real%21 How could a mother do this to her child. How can anyone do these horrible things to any child. This story gives me the chills.. This little girl did nothing to deserve this, on top of that, her own mother?? For McNeill, you're a disgusting bastard! I hope you get rape in jail everyday for the rest of your life in prison!!!!! McNeill & Antoinette deserves the Death Penalty..
This is just disgusting. That's all I can say.
Absolutely atrocious story - and what's worse is it's probably far from the last we will hear when they keep leaving innocent children with drug addicts

The mother shows no emotion, only fear in her eyes and that is for herself. I keep thinking of how this child must have feared and what she had to endure. The mother should be hung without a trial . There is no excuse, no justification for what happened and any man/women that would have sex with a child should be face the same. You can not rehabilitate a pedophile.
It is so sad, everyday children are missing, but when you hear about a mother like this is just boils your blood. Evil, pure and simple.

i think that her mom should do life for that because what she did was really uncalled for and Shaniya didnt deserve that should been able to kive a longer life and i hope that her mother never gets out she need to stay there and so that she can think about what she did!
