Cinderella Syndrome: Love and Relationships
We need to work on ourselves as individuals. We cannot rush into a relationship with a man or anyone for that matter and we are incomplete in our lives. Go to college, even if you have been out of high school ten years who cares!? Travel with your girlfriends, see what this world and its beaches and resorts have to offer. We as women tend to sale ourselves short looking for a way out of the mundane and average life.
Now I am in no way saying that marriage or a long term relationship isn't good for the soul or the heart. But I am saying don't rush into it. You are going to wake up bitter, feeling incomplete and wishing that you had taken another road and that leaves room for nothing but resentment and anger for and with the person you are with. Which is misdirected cause we shouldn't be upset with anyone but ourselves. Take control of your life from the very start. Take on some responsibilities. Show and prove to yourself that you can do these things without help.
