Christmas Light Tours in the Oklahoma City Metro and Surrounding Areas 2009

Oklahoma City and surrounding areas have some of the best Christmas light
shows I have seen. The kids and I always make sure to make our rounds to see
them all, regardless of how far we have to travel. We try every year to make sure
to go and see all the Christmas light displays, even in all the neighborhoods.
Some of the best locations we have went to have been listed below and these
locations do not even put a dent in all the locations available to go see.

Midwest City has a great holiday lights spectular to see. We went out
there last year and seen the Christmas light displays and they have alot to
see. They have about seventy to eighty displays and also a Christmas tree that
is about one-hundred feet high, lit up and so beautiful. The Holiday Lights run
through December 30th and have different times for viewings.

Oklahoma City has a great Botanical Gardens downtown by the Myriad. It is
absolutely great any time of the year but at Christmas time, the City really
does outdo itself to light the Botanical Gardens up with Christmas lights and
displays. It is almost as if you are somewhere else then downtown in Oklahoma
City. Very breathtaking and serene. Botanical Gardes Lights runs through
December 31st and can be viewed at different times.

Ponca City offers a great Christmas light display as well and has many locations
to view in the Ponca City area. The Festival Of Angels is a great Holiday
Lighting Celebration. They have great displays of angels and alot of animated
displays. They have approximately four or five locations and they all twinkle
with holiday cheer. My Aunt took me to a few of these locations when I went
to visit her one year and I have went back a few times since. This festival
runs through December 30th and runs from around 6pm to 10 pm.
