Stream Cliff Herb Farm Tearoom and Winery is located at 8225 S. Co. Road 90 West in Commiskey, Indiana. They are a sixth generation family farm dating to 1821. The grounds consist of hills with an 80 foot cliff along the beautiful Graham Creek. Many buildings have had an historic use such as the building called the Keeping Room used for a classroom was built in 1868 by the railroad for a boarding house for workers during construction of the railroad in about 1870. The Country Store, Cabin, Summer Kitchen Shops and barns are all original structures.
The farm winery located in the old blacksmith shop north of the Keeping room was started in 2007. The winery features a rustic theme plus delicious wines for tasting and sale during open season. Stream Cliff Herb Farm and Winery has been featured in a number of national magazines and publications. They have visitors come from all across the country. The farm and winery is a blend of past and present intertwined in a colonial farmstead atmosphere.
Christmas on the Farm

November 21, 2009 is the date of their Dolly's Tea Party and Marionette show. They will offer two sessions for the special event. They will present Little Red Riding Hood, the Three Bears, and "Twas the Night Before Christmas. A Dolly's Christmas Tea Party will be held. Each child can bring a favorite doll or bear for tea. The suggested ages are 3-10 years. The party starts in the 1836 farm house with stories. The play is held in the Keeping Room and the tea party is held in the Tearoom. There will be opportunities to take photos with Santa Claus. The fee is $25 for one adult and child pair.
