Car Crashes into Waldorf, Maryland House
In the morning, the last thing you want to think about is a car crash. When waking up checking the male you don't look for car crashes at all. A Forbe's article stated that you are more likely to have a car accident 1.4 miles from your home. You think about driving to work in you car. You never really think about a car crash at home. Statistics show a car crash is most likely to happen closer to home rather than farther. Here is my story of a car crash that was a little too close to home.
Car Crash into Mail boxes
After a friend of mine just came back from picking up her mail one odd morning in Waldorf. She told me she was going to pick up the mail. She lives in a town house community. I looked out the window and saw four mail boxes for the town houses. She didn't seen anything important, but was glad to get the mail.
We spoke for a minute and then she saw a Waldorf fire truck. She asked what was that. I looked out the window and saw a car in a house right around the corner. The house was about 3 car lengths from the mailbox from where she just collected her mail. Had she waited for a few more minutes she would have been hit. Literally the car knocked out two mail boxes in route to crashing into a house.
Car Crash into House
Now it was rainy in Waldorf, but to hit a house is a challenge. To hit a town house in a cul-de-sac that is second from the corner end is intentional. I personally didn't think you could build up enough speed for a car to crash into a house. Not that I would try to crash a car into a house. My thought was simply that the car crashing into the house had intention.
The entire Waldorf neighborhood stood as they watched this Terrific Tuesday morning as the car crash was the talk of the day. I took pictures of the car crash with my black berry just because I could not believe it personally. The car was actually a truck. Which accounted for how it got over the curb so easily.
