DNA sequence

Have you ever had an argument or discussion where you tried to get someone to see that your point of view was the correct one? As the argument went on it was obvious that you would need some definitive proof for you to make your point and get the other person thinking the same way you do. So you got all of your facts organized and presented the case in a very persuasive way. Then, when you had your facts straight, and the person that you are trying to convince is finally starting to listen something comes along and completely throws doubt all over what you were talking about. And as well-built as you felt your point of view was it now was nothing compared to the other person's point of view, based the new evidence that was presented. Well this same thing happened to Dr. Anthony Flew.
Dr. Antony Flew was a nonbeliever and he would always argue and debate with many different individuals trying to get them all to believe in his point of view. But then he ended up changing his own mind based on new DNA evidence. So he finally gave in to the fact that there has to be some extreme intelligence behind the origin of life. He compared DNA to a computer language that consists of ones and zeros called binary code. The way that these ones and zeros are arranged establishes a computer program and tells the computer how to perform and what to do.
DNA is made up of four chemicals, A, T, G and C. And just like a computer the sequencing of these letters tells the cell how to behave. These letters are arranged in a human cell like this: GTACACGTACGGACGCTGG and so on. Depending on the order in which they are arranged they instruct the cell's actions. So, within each tiny space in every cell in your body there is a code 3 billion letters long.
Dr. Flew understood that computer programs can't just exist on their own. It has to have a designer so intelligent design is the only solution. He said the DNA program was more intricate than anything he had ever seen. This information is very powerful because here is a person that has a passion about a certain theory or idea only to have his faith entirely crushed and totally destroyed.

The DNA as a code/computer program analogy is really very poor. It is somewhat useful for trying to explain the complexities of DNA to the uneducated, but unfortunately it is wrong in pretty much every way. Dr. (of philosophy, not biology or any associated field) Flew's acceptance of that analogy lends some credence to the rumors of his mental decline.

Personal incredulity is not evidence of God; it's just evidence that someone is either ignorant of the facts or ignoring them. Not being able to understand how something happens doesn't mean there's a supernatural explanation. Otherwise, magicians would be gods.
Oh, and Jack? I promise, you weren't using "science, biology, archeology (sic), history, mathematics, logic" in whatever "book" you wrote.
Oh, yeah. Mankind can not create life. Only God can. Amino acids come in two forms called right and left-handed because one is a mirror image of the other. Proteins which contain all left-handed amino acids will connect correctly with the surrounding proteins. However, if a right-handed amino acid is included, the shape of the protein is changed and the protein will not work in a living cell. Scientists have not been able to cause amino acids dissolved in water to join together to form proteins. The energy-requiring chemical reactions that join amino acids are reversible and do not occur spontaneously in water. The conclusion is that since scientists have no idea how life originally formed, and human attempts at creating life by experiment after failed miserably, time and time again, there must be some design...(yes!, an Intelligent One...hellpo!). Jacob, this is most excellent. I wrote an article similar to this called Blind Chance or Intelligent Design. Chance, to Immanuel Kant, is an excuse for ignorance. Chance is not even a noun, it can do nothing of itself, it has no power to effect, it is not an x-factor, as many are convinced. And chance is not composed of physical matter. Regardless of those facts, to those who believe in evolution or carry a disbelief of Creationism or Intelligent Design, chance was the x-factor in everything coming into existence. Otherwise, they must admit that they don't know how matter, and thus life, came into existence.
