Summer is almost here and people become more active. If your into dating why not have an outdoor type date? Just make sure your date is into that sort of thing.

When making a date with the opposite sex you could suggest some places to go that are outdoor activities. Don't try to force someone to do something they are not into. When you plan an activity make sure you both agree on it. This does two things it lets the other person know how to dress and gets their approval of any activities. Don't assume they will like it cause you do. Also, if your planning on dinner after the activity than the date must allow for a shower and a change of clothes.

A good old standby activity is the beach. Most everyone loves the beach. Your date must know in advance of what is expected. Most people if they know in advance won't feel out of place or uncomfortable.

Another activity would be hiking or fishing type activity. If your planning on going fishing than you would dress differently than when your hiking. Your date may love these activities and than they may have never done them before. Some people may like to try an activity that is new to them.

Going to the zoo is another good activity. You don't have to be a child to love the zoo adults like it too. Your date may even suggest doing something like this. The whole idea is to have fun and be comfortable. The more comfortable each person is the more relaxed and the better the date will go.

One thing that is good about outdoor activities for a date is if your date has a dog or child they can bring them along. If your dating this person leads to a better relationship you will have to meet them sooner or later. Plus it makes them feel like you are interested in their life.

You could also go horse back riding. Even if neither one of you have never been on a horse before it really melts the ice. Riding horses is not only fun but can be very exciting thing to do on a date.

When it comes to the outdoors the world is your oyster and anything can make a very successful date and good time. From just having a picnic lunch in the park to rock climbing as long as you both agree you can have a blast.

These are great suggestions. I would much rather go to the zoo or hiking than a dinner-and-a-movie type date.

Great suggestions, I went to a park with my wife for one of our first dates, we still try to do as much outdoor activities as we can when the weather is nice.
