Rubber Ducky Themed Baby Shower

Rubber duckies make an adorable and easy to execute theme for any baby shower. Whether the baby shower is for a baby boy, baby girl, or for the expectant mom who is going to be surprised, the rubber duck theme is a great choice. Here is everything you need to know to plan and throw your own rubber ducky themed baby shower.

Decorations. Rubber ducky decorations are easy to find. You don't necessarily have to seek out decorations that already have a rubber duck theme, but rather you can create your own. Purchase light blue and light yellow cups, plates, and napkins. These will fit the theme perfectly and you will save a little money getting plain colors. For the tables, purchase several little rubber duckies in all sizes. You can easily find rubber ducks ranging in size from very tiny to very large. Scatter them around the table with some light blue confetti to act as water. Rubber ducky stickers are easy to find so you may wish to purchase some to decorate your cups. You can also use some fishing line to hang rubber duckies all around the room. You can hang some from the light fixtures, curtain rods, or even on the backs of chairs. For a simple addition to your serving and cake table, fill several glass containers (vases, drinking glasses, goblets, etc) with water. Die the water yellow and blue and sit them around for a completely free, yet very lovely, decoration for your baby shower.
