Take Kids to Celebrate Christmas with Santa and Central Pierce County Fire & Rescue

2
The holiday season is gearing up. All over, lots of organizations have free Christmas events for kids of all ages. Pierce County Washington is no exception. One organization making the Christmas season jolly for kids in Parkland, and other areas of Central Pierce County is the Central Pierce Fire & Rescue.

Santa Visits Fire Stations:

At fire stations throughout Pierce County, Santa will be making an appearance for kids to kick off the Christmas season. When Santa visits, kids can get their picture taken with Santa in his sleigh. Firefighters with Christmas cheer, cookies, and coffee will also be available to make the Christmas fire station visit jolly.

Donations are recommended for the photos. Central Pierce Fire & Rescue will also be collecting donations of nonperishable food items for their Holiday Food Basket program and new unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots program. Kids can have some low-key fun and help out the needy in their community this Christmas season because of Fire station staff and Santa.
