Bayside and Flushing, NY are two townships within Queens, NY. Queens is a suburb (or more correctly borough) of the "big city," Manhattan. Queens is more residential and has more people and is of a larger land mass than Manhattan. It seems reasonable then that things like weddings and other functions (like the US Tennis Open) may happen in Queens. Sure, you could be close to a relative with a big home or you could need a hotel. Some of the hotels/motels in Queens include Anchor Motor Inn, Adria Hotel, Ramada Inn, and more. This article looks at the various accommodations and gives you an idea of price range and how nice the hotel is.

The Anchor Motor Inn is located on Northern Boulevard and is reasonably close to most major attractions in Queens. The rate is reasonable (about $110-$125/night depending on date and type of room wanted) and it offers plenty of extras including WIFI internet access, a fitness room complete with treadmills and weight machines, and Complimentary Continental Breakfast. The AAA approved hotel is certainly a winner.

The Adria Hotel and Conference Center offers room rates at slightly higher prices than its compatriot also on Northern Blvd. Adria Hotel and Conference Center is a great place to consider holding a meeting. It is cheaper than a similar space in Manhattan and it is close to both JFK and LaGuardia Airports, the two major airports of New York City. They are a great service when helping to make your conference; they will give you an appropriately sized space and put you in contact with caterers.

The Ramada Inn is also on Northern Blvd. Rates are about $125-140/night depending on dates and room type wanted. The Ramada Inn offers you typical large, chain hotel features which are good for the frequent traveler. It offers the chance to get "points" for your Ramada Inn rewards and it also offers incredibly easy reservation services and Internet Service is available.
