My husband I both work nights, so we usually go out for a late lunch instead of dinner. This time was no exception, and we arrived at Village China Wok Buffet at about 3:45 PM. The parking lot looked do deserted that we almost didn't think the place was open, but we soon spotted a neon "Open" sign and headed in. Right when you enter the restaurant you will see a list of prices. Lunch prices are good from 11 AM to 3:30 PM and are $7.95 for each adult. Dinner prices are from 3:30 PM to 9 PM and are $9.95 for each adult. Kids from 2 to 12 are $0.70 for each year of their age. Drinks are not included in the price, and cost $1.50 each for soda or tea. Village China Wok Buffet also offers alcoholic beverages at various prices.
At first glance Village China Wok seemed like a fairly clean restaurant, but it could have been a little better kept. The high chairs didn't seem like they had been cleaned in a while, but luckily we had brought our high chair cover. Since Village China Wok is a buffet, all your waitress does is refill your drinks and take away your plates. Never the less, our waitress was nice and quite prompt at her job. Since we were pretty much the only customers in the restaurant, I can't vouch for the service at busier times. We were also impressed by the fact that we constantly saw employees refilling the buffet trays with new food, which is a very good sign at any Buffet restaurant.
