Febreze Air Effects VS Oust Air Sanitizer

We all like to keep the air in our homes smelling fresh and clean, and there are many products out there to help us achieve that goal. Although many chose to use plug-in air fresheners or scented candles to keep things smelling great, others turn to products that can be conveniently
sprayed in the air to freshen their homes anytime. I have personally used two of these spray air freshening products: Febreze Air Effects and Oust Air Sanitizer.

Febreze Air Effects claims to "eliminate odors in the air, not just cover them up." It comes in many different scents, including: Linen & Sky, Meadows & Rain, Spring & Renewal, and Apple Spice & Delight. Febreze Air Effects is easy to use, you just spray and walk away, and your room is left fresh. Febreze Air Effects is priced just right, at under $4 a bottle. Unfortunately, some of the claims made my Febreze Air Effects just didn't prove to be true when I used the product. I purchased Febreze Air Effects in the scent "Linen & Sky" because it sounded light, and I don't like heavy smells in my home. I tried the Febreze Air Effects in my kitchen after cooking, in my daughter's bathroom around the diaper pail, and in my bedroom. The Febreze Air Effects did a great job at immediately masking the smells in my kitchen and in my daughter's bathroom, but the lingering smells crept back after only about fifteen minutes. I was also disappointed that the smell of the Febreze Air Effects was quite strong, and it certainly seemed like the product was just "covering up" odors to me! Febreze Air Effects did work quite well in my bedroom, even though the scent of the product was still strong. However, I have to attribute this to the fact that there were no extremely tough odors to eliminate in my bedroom unlike in the other rooms. I didn't dislike the Febreze Air Effects enough to discontinue using it, and I used it to freshen my home until I ran out of the product.
