Forrest Griffin's New UFC 106 Entrance Song a Crowd Favorite

Forrest Griffin had his back against the wall going into UFC106 against Tito Ortiz after being knocked out by Anderson Silva in his previous bout.

People wondered where his head was at and Griffin wanted to show that he was back and ready for more going into his UFC 106 fight against Ortiz through his entrance song. In changing his entrance song going into UFC 106's fight with Ortiz, Griffin made a statement that he was ready to move on from Silva's demolition of him and on to a new phase in his UFC career.

Griffin managed to do that with a UFC 106 win over Ortiz.

Forrest Griffin's New UFC 106 Entrance Song a Crowd Favorite

Forrest Griffin came out to the song "Tubthumping" by Chumbawumba in his UFC 106 fight avgainst Tito Ortiz. The song Tubthumping was a change of pace from Griffin's old standby UFC entrance song "Shipping Up to Boston" by the Dropkick Murphys.

The chorus of Griffin's entrance song Tubthumping features the lyrics "I get knocked down, but I get up again! You're never going to keep me down!" which is a good representation of the way Forrest felt going into the fight against Ortiz.

He had picked himself up after the devastating UFC 101 loss to Silva and managed to "get up again!" by defeating Ortiz via a split decision.

So, will Griffin keep the favorite song Tubthumping as his entrance song or will he come out back to his old entrance song next time around?

My guess is that Griffin will come out to Shipping Up to Boston as his entrance song again. But Tubthumping wouldn't work out as well as it did at UFC 106 in his next fight, that's for sure.
