The show opened with the stars eliminated earlier in the season and their partners returning for one last performance. A brief recap of last night's dances followed with snippets of the judge's comments. After 9 weeks and 19 dances, the stars prepared for their last dance.

Whitney Houston took center stage to sing her new single, Million Dollar Bill.

Comedian Jeffrey Roth introduced the mythical Loser's Club with members like Kenny Mayne, Penn Jillette. Ashley Hamilton, the first star eliminated this season was inducted. He began a dance with former partner Edyta Slwynska, dropping her on the floor and taking up the number with Roth. For their finale, both men bared their chests, revealing that Roth has a stomach whiter than a snow drift according to host Tom Bergeron.

Kathy Ireland returned to dance with Tony Dovolani as did Macy Gray and Jonathon Roberts. Debi Mazar and Maks Chmerkovskiy took a turn around the floor too. Tom DeLay was up next with Cheryl Burke to do the Texas -Two-Step he was denied earlier in season by foot injuries.

Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya and Mark DeCascos with Lacey Schwimmer shared the floor next to contrary numbers Cold as Ice and Hot-Blooded. Then the two fighters staged a fight that was fun to watch.
Adam Corolla coached Donny on how to be the first male to win the trophy.

Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo performed so well that Tom Bergeron asked if it was too late to put her back in. Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas danced the Salsa they didn't get to do during the season.

Next a final look at the last three contestants from the judges' viewpoints. Then the finalists made a grand entrance into the ballroom, ready to put it all on the line. Kelly Osbourne and Louie Van Amstel were up first, repeating their Viennese Waltz from week 1. The crowd chanted her name making Len's comments inaudible. Bruno sang her praises. Carrie Ann cried as she said no one ever touched when they danced as she has.

Mya and Dmytri Chaplin were next with their jive. A standing ovation and positive comments from the judges have become the norm. Carrie Ann said Mya has set the pace from the first week. Len lauded her talent.
