Nissan Armada: The New Luxury SUV
The Nissan Armada is a full-size, luxury SUV. It offers two models, the SE and the LE. When driving one of these babies, heads will turn because these are the new thing!
Armadas offer a lot of extras, but safety comes standard. Every Armada comes with rear sonar systems and most even have a front sonar system for those hard to see places. Nissan offers the Advanced Air Bag System, which is able to tell when the passenger has their seat belt fastened and a
weight sensor is able to make the distinction between adult and child.
As far as creature comforts go, Armada has a lot of them. In the LE models, you can get the Bose stereo system with 6 disc in dash CD changer. A new feature is the Music Box, a 9.3 GB hard drive so you can put all your favorite MP3s right into your car. Or you can get the DVD Entertainment system with 8 inch monitor and remote. In all models, you'll have the conveniences of heated mirrors, adjustable foot pedals, power up/down windows, power driver's seat, overhead storage, fold flat second and third row seats, and the list goes on.
One of my favorite things about the Armada is the leg room. This has got to be the roomiest vehicle I've ever been in. The second and third rows have more than enough leg room for even the tallest of your friends! I have two kids, and with them comes a lot of gear: car seats, stroller, diaper bags, toys, etc. I have never had any problems fitting all of their stuff in along with seven passengers.
The Nissan Armada comes with a powerful V8, 317 horse power engine with a towing mode. This thing has more power than you'll probably ever need. It also has brake assist to provide maximum braking power in all situations.
I will say that I really like our Armada. The only problem I have with it is the fuel efficiency. It is also wider than some vehicles so parking in narrow spaces can also be a problem. To help with that, Nissan has engineered this vehicle with an excellent turn radius.
All in all, the Nissan Armada is a sweet ride. It is a bit expensive and a bit of a gas hog, but it is a big SUV. If you like to ride in style, the Armada just might be for you.
