How to Create Your Vision Board

John Assaraf, teacher of The Secret, created his first Vision Board in 1995. He began by taking pictures of things he wanted to achieve or attract and putting them on the board. Every day he would look at his board and visualize the things he wanted to create in his life. By doing this he could really believe these were things he already had and be grateful for them.

When he was getting ready to move, he put the boards in a box to pack them. Five years later, after several temporary moves, he had finally settled into his new home. The boxes were sitting in his new office. Upon seeing them, John's son asked what was in the boxes. As he pulled them out to show to his son, he noticed that he was now living in the exact house he had put on his Vision Board! Wow! What an incredible feeling that must have been!

What a powerful story! Create your own Vision Board to help you visualize all you want in the Universe. You create a board just like John Assaraf did or you can get creative with technology. One idea is to create your Vision Board in MS Publisher, save it as a picture and apply it as the desktop on your computer. Another is to utilize a service such as flickr.com, slide.com, or photobucket.com. Upload your pictures and create an online slide show. So what kinds of things should you include on your Visions Board? Whatever you like! The Universe is your catalog. Everything you want can be yours. The sky is the limit! Want a new home? A new car? A beautiful diamond ring? Or maybe a gorgeous pair of Jimmy Choo shoes? Your Vision Board need not just contain material images however.
