How to Choose the Correct Computer for Christmas
Computer are great for any age as long as they are responsible enough to take care of the computer. The younger children learn to use computer, the more they will learn about computer. In todays world computer skills are a must for many jobs. If you considering buying a computer for a first time user here are some things to consider between netbooks and laptops.Choose your size:
Netbooks are smaller then laptops, which make them easier to carry.
Laptops are larger then a netbook.
Choose type of connection:
Netbooks can access the Internet like a cell phone and can be used anywhere that a cell phone can be used.
Laptops need WiFi connection to connect to the Internet. Laptops can connect to a wireless router at home.
Choose how many Tasks:
Netbooks can do only one task at a time.
Laptops are able to handle multiple tasks like a regular computer.
Price:
Netbooks are cheaper then a laptop. A netbook needs service like cell phone (ATT, Sprint, ect.) Some netbooks will work with only a specific service. There service will give out the netbooks cheaper because the buyer has to pay for their monthly service. Netbooks start at about $299 on average. While Laptops cost $499 on average.
Laptop overall are a better computer. They will have more storage space and be able to do more then just one function at a time. Netbooks are easier to travel with and lighter. A refurbished laptop can be found for about the same price of a netbook.
I think laptops are the winner, but that is just my opinion.
