The first tip is appearance. Even for the most casual of jobs, a professional appearance at the interview is a key. A shirt and tie is the minimum your child should wear. Depending on the job a sport jacket might need to be added, and possibly an entire suit designed to go together (instead of piecing one together) may be helpful. Another issue you might want to assist your child with is confidence. As a parent it's natural to assume the biggest obstacle could be a lack of confidence. Yet, sometimes a young job candidate will come into an interview with too much confidence, there are ways to help avoid both situations.
