Staples White Address Labels Versus Avery White Address Labels

In my opinion, Staples White Multipurpose Address Labels (1" x 2 5/8") are just as good as Avery 5160 White Laser Address Labels with Easy Peel (1"x 2 5/8"). In general, I am a fan of store brands because they usually cost less and I like to save money. This is especially the case when a store brand is of comparable quality to a name brand. If you find a store brand that is of comparable quality to a name brand and it costs less, you have nothing to lose and some extra money to gain. I feel that this is the case with the Staples brand address labels. The Staples brand is definitely of comparable quality to the Avery brand, so why pay more for Avery?

The Avery 5160 White Laser Address Labels with Easy Peel and the Staples White Multipurpose Address Labels are exactly the same size. The labels of each brand are 1" x 2 5/8" exactly. They both come with 3,000 labels per package and 30 labels per sheet. When comparing the sheets side by side there is virtually no difference between them. Once affixed to an envelope I doubt anyone would be able to tell any difference between them at all.

The layout for both the Staples White Multipurpose Address Labels and the Avery 5160 White Laser Address Labels with Easy Peel are compatible with Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, and Avery LabelPro and more. Software that works for the Avery labels will also work for the Staples labels. A formatted labels document will print equally well on either the Staples or the Avery labels because the size and layout of the labels is exactly the same. So if you have a saved document that you have printed on the Avery labels in the past, next time you could print that same document on Staples labels and it would work just fine. In fact, the package of the Staples labels even indicates that they are comparable to the Avery 5160 labels and notes that they are compatible with Avery LabelPro.
