The college football rankings for week 14 mark the virtual end of the regular season. Though the college football rankings in week 14 don't have
many changes, the next week certainly will, after all the conference title games. However, the top of the college football rankings remains the same as always, with only one hope left for any changes. But heading into week 14, Florida and Alabama are officially set for a 1 vs 2 SEC title game, with Texas a step away from being No. 2.

The college football rankings in week 14 will have no changes in the top six, of course. Florida, Alabama, Texas, TCU, Cincinnati and Boise State are still unbeaten, and still run the USA TODAY top 25 poll, with the AP poll soon to follow. However, there was a bit of change behind the unbeatens this week.

Georgia Tech and Pitt got caught looking ahead to their championship games, and dropped down the rankings with losses. In the USA TODAY poll, the top 10 is now rounded out by Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State and Iowa. California, West Virginia and Stanford broke back into the top 25 with big wins.

More movement will take place in the final college football rankings next week, after the ACC, Big 12 and SEC title games, and the unofficial Pac-10 and Big East championship clashes. But of course, the one game dwarfing all others is in the SEC, as at long last, the Florida-Alabama rematch is in sight.

As everyone expected in September, the Gators and Tide will meet again at No. 1 and No. 2, with a BCS title berth on the line. Unlike last year, both teams are unbeaten, and the Gators are at No. 1. But Florida should still be favored to beat Alabama for the second year in a row.

With that game determining one championship spot, Texas can clinch the second by beating Nebraska for the Big 12 title. The Cornhuskers didn't even get votes in the USA TODAY rankings, so few expect the Longhorns to trip up now. But if they do, TCU and Cincinnati will be on cloud nine - though the Bearcats still have to beat Pitt to even get into the BCS.
