Who Killed Heladio Rojas Perales? Texas Teacher's Body Found Stabbed to Death in Towed SUV
Heladio Rojas Perales, age 35, was a 4th year Spanish teacher at Reagan High School, which is part of HISD (Houston Independent School District). Mr. Perales was stabbed to death and the crime is unsolved.
Mr. Perales' body was discovered on Thanksgiving day in Needville according to KHOU. The body had multiple stab wounds. His body was found in his SUV.
The police have stated that "Perales was killed in Wharton county and we are investigating three persons of interest" according to KHOU.
When Fort Bend County Sheriffs responded to the report of an abandoned vehicle at a Fort Bend County farm, it was determined that the car belonged to Mr. Perales, who had been reported missing on November 21. The SUV contained the body of Mr. Perales, but that was not discovered until the car was towed to the police lot.
The SUV, a Toyota 4Runner, was then towed, without a search of the interior of the vehicle. The body of Heladio Rojas Perales was later discovered in the cargo area of the vehicle. Pictures were not taken of the location where Mr. Perales' SUV was found.
The public is curious about why the SUV was not searched before it was towed. Was the original spot where the SUV found searched as a crime scene? If not, was important evidence missed? There are many questions that the public would like information about.
KWTX reports that "Heladio Rojas Perales may have been killed at a friend's home last weekend and his body dumped with his vehicle in a rural section of Fort Bend County."
The victim's family found some information on Heladio's computer that led them to report him missing on November 21. Beaumontenterprise reports that they "discovered some disturbing things about the victim that alarmed them enough to report that he was missing" according to Galena Park Police Chief Robert Pruett.
The murder is now being investigated by the Galena Park Police Department. If you have any information about the murder of Heladio Rojas Perales please call the Galena Park Police at: 713- 675-3471. The website for Galena Park Police is: www.cityofgalenapark-tx.gov.
