My Top Ten of the Worst Non-American Actresses

My Own International Razzie Awards!

I sat back and thought about the actresses I always hear about, famous with limited talent, if any, and came up with Carmen Elektra, Jessica Simpson, Jessica Alba and Miley Cyrus. Topping that list of losers is my all-time favorite, Paris Hilton. She won 3 of Hollywood¡¦s ¡§Razzie Awards¡¨ in one year. Hollywood¡¦s ¡§Razzie Awards¡¨ are the ¡§worst of¡¨ instead of ¡§the best of¡¦, like blowing raspberries at the actors, films and directors, except for very few of the winners of these awards show up at the ceremonies. I heard that Halle Berry showed up to receive her award for Catwoman. That doesn¡¦t happen much. But that is a whole other story. They are American actresses and I¡¦m looking for international actresses. Let¡¦s go to Europe first and I¡¦ll start my ¡§Top Ten¡¨ list of the worst actresses outside of the United States.
„« The blond bombshell of the past, Bridget Bardot, is France¡¦s claim to fame. That is what she was famous for, her pictures, not her acting. She started with light comedy which were not terrible, but she should have stuck with that. I don¡¦t think acting classes would have helped her.
„« Sweden¡¦s Britt Eklund, was only famous for marrying Peter Sellers. She DID win an award for her part on ¡§Airport 75¡¨, but sadly, it was a ¡§Razzie¡¨. And she DID take acting lessons. She also was one of the ¡§Bond Girls¡¨. No need for acting classes there either.
„« Another Scandinavian country, Denmark, produced Brigette Nielsen. Remember her? She only became famous for the quickie wedding to ¡§Rocky¡¨ (Sylvester Stallone) and the even quicker divorce. I think that was her fourth. Her part is ¡§Rocky IV¡¨ was not a credit to the ¡§Rocky¡¨ series either.
„« Off to England, where I found a rather large list. So I decided to go with Geri Halliwell, one of the Spice Girls. She won a ¡§Razzie¡¨ for the Spice Girls movie. Wait, we have to add the other Spice Girls to the list, too. Yes, all of them got the prestigious ¡§Razzie¡¨ award. They should really stick to singing.
„« Elke Sommer comes to mind when I think about actresses from Germany, but not for this list. This list has to announce Ines Mueller, (originally spelled with the umlaut over the u), who made her claim to fame, as the worst actress in the world, according to www.imdb.com.
„« Leaving Europe now, the only Indian actress I found that made a headline as being the worst actress in India is Aishwary Rai, named the queen of flops by our own Wikipedia.
„« We can add Emma Watson, the ginger girl in the Harry Potter movies to Great Britain¡¦s list.
„« Masami Nagasawa from Japan earned a 2007 ¡§Razzie¡¨.
„« Spanish actress Penelope Cruz has my vote.
„« I didn¡¦t know Pamela Anderson is Canadian. She would have got my vote in the American group, but since she was born in British Columbia, we can leave her in Canada.

Well, that¡¦s my international list of loser actresses. But you have to admit, they DID get their names out there for the world to see. And what do they say in Hollywood? Bad news is still news, or something like that. Other American actresses like Pia Zadora, Elizabeth Berkley, and did I forget to mention Madonna and J Lo will definitely benefit by this, as will the rest of them. And the paparazzi of the world will still make money following them around giving us minor, useless details like what they ate at lunch and what color purse they were carrying. That¡¦s Hollywood!
