The threat of terrorist attacks in our homeland is unfortunately very real, and they will stop at nothing to snuff out all forms of life in the most inhumane way that they can think of. Due to this fact, other countries have begun taking steps towards fending off terrorist attacks by preparing safe-rooms, learning how to use gas-masks, and receiving radiation-rejecting medications which are relatively unknown here. In fact most European countries have provided their personnel with training and supplies to help them survive many types of terrorist attacks.

Of course terrorists have followed the books of guerrilla warfare and terrorism written by Mao Tse Tung and Ho Chi Min, giving them the full knowledge of how to publicly demonstrate their capacity for slaughtering innocent people in an effort to create fear among our nation and others. They will stop at nothing to prove that they can do whatever they want, when they want so that they can capitalize on our freedom by disrupting our way of life in the most catastrophic and bloodiest effort possible.

As of today, the government is aware that there are several suit-case nuclear bombs located inside the United States, but their exact location is unknown. What is known is that these bombs have a relatively small nuclear device in them with the capability of inflicting a multitude of deaths within a ten mile radius, and will deliver radiation burns in varying degrees to people within a 50 to 100 mile radius of the original detonation.

There is no way of knowing when a terrorist attack is going to happen other staying up to date with their current activities, and listening to the warning signs. Most often, reported coverage of the terrorists and their activities by news stations comes after the fact, but in the event that a leak occurs over an intended planned attack you can do several things to prepare for it, and protect your family.

I would love to have one of these rooms. One would also be beneficial if you had time to get to it during a robbery. Thanks for sharing.

You know the one thing I was going to ask you about was the one thing that has already been raised by a couple of other commentors already, where did you get information that speaks to the "government is aware that there are several suit-case nuclear bombs located inside the United States?" While it isn't too far of a stretch to believe such, i.e., that the U.S. government would have such information and not be sharing that info with the public-at-large (there were things I knew of as a Pershing Nuclear Missile team member and operations surrounding such that neither media nor public hadn't a clue about relative to threats associated with same, etc), it is much more of a stretch to believe that several suit-case nuclear bombs are at present located within the U.S. So I would have to ask you, where did you get such information?

It's frightening what we have to face today. Like, someone said it reminds of what might the Cuban Missle crisis must have felt like. The dread and worry each day. Great article. Very informative. You really did your homework Sherri. Bye

This is a good article. How sad that we have to think this way. Makes me think about the 50's when we worried about having bomb shelters.

The threat is real, but the sad thing is that, just like 9/11, it can come from our own government when it decides someone is expendable for a cause.

I dread the day this would ever happen on US soil. The Safe Room has quite a door!

I was wondering the same thing. Where did you find reliable info on these suitcase bombs? Scary!

Good article, thanks, Linda

I am curious about where the info on suitcase nuclear bombs came from. While you did a fine job presenting this argument, I am not sure the threat is all that real.
