Bridal showers are so much fun for the bride-to-be. She loves spending time with her bridesmaids and other loved ones. You, as the host, want to make sure she enjoys a bridal shower to remember. A daisy theme is a great choice for any bridal shower. It is simple to execute, inexpensive to prepare for, and is an elegant choice for any bride. Here is all you need to know to plan the perfect daisy themed bridal shower.

Decorations. It is essential that for your decorations you have plenty of live daisies. Since it is a bridal shower, and the classic color for weddings is white, choose simple white daisies with yellow centers. Use whatever glass containers you already own (drinking glasses, goblets, vases, apothecary bottles, etc) to house the daisies. Simply put a small amount of water in the container, and insert one single daisy. If you want a little more color, you may tint the water light blue using food coloring. Place the single daisies all around the food and cake table, gift table, and throughout the bridal shower area. You can also pull some of the petals off of your daisies to sprinkle around the eating tables, or even on the floor where the shower will be held.

The cake. A daisy themed bridal shower cake is easy to execute for anyone with a little bit of cake decorating skill. You can either have the cake professionally made with beautiful icing daisies, or you can make the cake yourself. Simply bake a two layer cake and carefully frost it with pure white buttercream icing. Next, scatter silk daisies over the top of the cake. Also, press daisies into the base of the cake to create a border. This bridal shower cake is cute and simple and will match your daisy theme perfectly.

The favors. Flower pens are the perfect bridal shower favor for a daisy themed bridal shower. Not only do the pens make a great party favor, they can also serve as a decoration until the guests leave. Flower pens are made simply by attaching a silk daisy to a ballpoint pen using floral tape. Here are complete instructions on creating flower pens.

I love this particular theme especially during Spring. Those pens are cute. I also like these daisy card holders - http://www.bellenza.com/Elements/Soseya_Placecard_holders.htm
