In the 2007 - 2008 season the week will be kicked off with two of NBC's hottest shows. At 8 pm NBC will air their game show Deal or No Deal starring Howie Mandel. Deal or No Deal is probably the biggest game show to hit television since Who Wants to be a Millionaire so it should be around for a while longer.
Returning in the 9 pm slot on Monday nights will be NBC's hit show Heroes. NBC struggled all year to find a show that could retain any of Heroes' audience so the 10 pm slot will be given to one of their new shows, Journeyman.
Tuesday Nights will also debut a new show called Chuck. Chuck will be sandwiched by two returning shows, The Biggest Loser and Law & Order: Special Victim Unit.
NBC's Wednesday Night lineup brings us two new shows, Bionic Woman, starting at 9 pm, and Life, starting at 10 pm. Bionic Woman and Life will be joined by another episode of Deal or No Deal in the 8 pm slot.
In 2007 - 2008 Thursday Nights will be the only night of the week that will not have any new shows. In fact, all of the current Thursday night shows will be returning. My Name is Earl will kick off Thursday Nights at 8 pm. 30 Rock will move up to earlier in the night at 8:30 pm and The Office and Scrubs will both move back a half hour to 9 pm and 9:30 pm. Finally Thursday Nights will close with ER.
Friday Nights on NBC will be kicked off by one of two game shows. For the first 8 weeks NBC will be airing more episodes of 1vs 100 in the 8 pm slot. The next six weeks will feature a new game show called the Singing Bee. At 9 pm and 10 pm Las Vegas and Friday Night Lights will be returning.
NBC's Saturday Night lineup will feature Dateline NBC at 8 pm and encores of other NBC shows from 9 pm to 11 pm.
In 2007 NBC's Saturday Nights will be occupied with football. The football coverage will kickoff at 7 pm with the pre-game show Football Night in America and Sunday Night Football will begin at 8 pm.
