Wanna Feel like a Star? Try Visiting this Charleston, South Carolina Hotel!

I honestly felt like celebrity. No, really! Okay, maybe a C-list celebrity, like Donald Trump's daughter or Miss Teen USA, but whatever. It was fabulous...the valet parking, cameras flashing around us and the dazzling doorman who so eagerly held open the door for me. "Where is this place?" you may ask. "Hollywood?? LA?? Paris??" No, no and no. The Church St Inn., in Charleston, South Carolina, that's where.

How I got there and who I am isn't important, so I'll spare you from those drowsy details. However, I guess you need a bit of background in order to imagine my experience from your computer desk...or wherever you are reading this from.

I was visiting a good friend in Charleston, who recently relocated to the fine, southern city in search of "inspiration" or something like that. Did he find it? I haven't the slightest idea. But I sure found it that weekend when I took off to the coast in my Honda, with dreams of Plantation houses near the river and hot, sandy beaches to play on. What I did not imagine, however, was the high standard of service we received from the staff of Church Street Inn. Do I need to tell you the street it's on? Please, forgive me, and read on.

Alright, let's get down to the nitty gritty details of the property, so you can really paint a picture in your mind. The hotel is 3-story brick building sitting atop a narrow, cobblestone street, not unlike many others in Charleston. Nestled in the middle of the city's vibrant downtown, there is an endless variety colorful attractions right around the corner...and down the street...heck even right across the street! The distinctive green awning welcoming you to the Inn is clearly visible, so you can't miss it. Simple potted plants on either side of the door welcome you, along with that dazzling doorman I mentioned before.
