Inter-league play is a fairly new idea in Major League Baseball. Before it existed, the only time any National League team would play an American League team was in the World Series. However, most players enjoy this type of play in which they can meet other-league teams before the series, and travel to new places and play new teams. But inter-league play can be decently unfair, as Chipper Jones has now pointed out. Chipper Jones is a man that needs no introduction. An All-Star player, a World Series winner, and an MVP speak volumes about this man. In fact, this season has him on pace to win his second MVP. He is one of the most feared players in the Major League, and has been playing for 14 seasons. This means that he knows his way around baseball, and knows more about it than most. He says that inter-league play this year has some teams in a bind and some teams flying easy.
