Sugar-free gelatin snacks are an excellent way to satisfy hunger cravings without consuming excessive calories or gaining weight. Both the Jell-O Sugar Free Low Calorie Gelatin Dessert and the Winky Sugar Free Gelatin Dessert are ultra-low-calorie foods that anybody can afford to eat with impunity; they have only ten calories apiece, and one would have to eat fifty individual containers to consume the equivalent of a 500-calorie meal! I have extensively purchased both Jell-O and Winky sugar-free desserts; each of them has its particular advantages. The Jell-O desserts come in a wide variety of unique flavors, including peach, watermelon, black cherry, and raspberry. Their taste is wonderful, and they are not all too expensive-at a little over $4 per 12-pack in most Wal-Marts and grocery stores. However, in terms of price, Winky has Jell-O beat. The Winky desserts sell at about $2.60 per 12-pack; the portion sizes and caloric content of each kind of dessert are identical, so Winky desserts are far less expensive for a consumer to buy.
Winky Sugar Free Gelatin Desserts have their limitations, however. They only come in three flavors: strawberry-banana, mandarin orange, and lime. These are good flavors, and I enjoy them thoroughly; Jell-O desserts with the same flavors do not taste any better. But customers seeking to consume a wider variety of gelatin snacks will not find it if they solely purchase Winky products. Winky makes other flavors of desserts, too, such as lemon and blueberry; but Winky only uses these flavors in its 90-calorie "regular" desserts, which cannot be eaten as guiltlessly as the sugar-free snacks. Jell-O, on the other hand, has at least thrice as many sugar-free dessert flavors as Winky; all Jell-O desserts are more expensive, but the greatly increased variety may be worth it to some.
