Restaurant Review: Houlihan's of Hershey, Pennsylvania

Located directly on Main street in Hershey, PA. Houlihan's is what appears to be an upscale dining restaurant from the outside. The parking lot has more than enough space and the building that this houlihan's location is held in is a recently renovated building. When you first enter the restaurant there is a very narrow waiting area with the bathrooms set just across from the seats in the waiting area. I went to the restaurant at about 4:30PM on a Saturday and only had to wait about five minutes because i was with a large party of about 8 people. Before we were seated i checked out the bathroom and it was very impressive. It was very clean and well-kept and the music was very relaxing which made checking out the restroom enjoyable.

Once my party was seated we received our menu's but we did have to wait around five minutes for our waitress to greet us and take our drink orders. Houlihans has a very wide variety of alcoholic beverages on their menu. They have just about every popular beer, wine, and mixed drink you can think of. Although I myself did not order an alcoholic beverage, a few of the members of my party did and they seemed to enjoy their beverages. The selection of food on the menu was very large aswell. They have many appetizers, sandwiches, salads, soups, and traditional entrees. I ordered the French Dip sandwich with Au'jou dipping sauce. My sandwich was very fresh and when it was delivered to me it was just the right temperature.

The atmosphere at houlihans is a very comfortable environment, Although at times it can be a bit loud because of the bar, but it didn't seem to bother me to much at all. The prices of the menu items at houlihans are very affordable considering how nice the restaurant is. My meal came to about $10 total with my beverage. Our waitress was very friendly but was a bit slow and needed help from her fellow staff members to keep up with our orders. The service wasn't the fastest, but the friendliness of the staff made up for it.

If you are in Hershey, PA, and you are looking for a nice family restaurant with a modern pleasant atmosphere, Houlihan's is defiantly one of my top picks.
