I am a body wash freak. I love the good smelling stuff, but want to make sure my skin stays soft afterwards. I have tried both Dove Cream Oil and Softsoap body wash and have found one that meets all needs.

There are four different types of Softsoap bodywash. Two of the Nutra Oil and two of the Pure Cashmere. At a higher price than what I usually get I decided to only try one of each.

The first product I tried was the Softsoap Nutra Oil. The bottle had a yellow-orange label and claimed it was for extra dry skin. It includes almond and shea butter and smells okay in the bottle but did not leave a lingering scent on my skin. I used the product once and was not impressed. My skin didn't feel any more mositurized then my regular bar soap, and I imagine I could get the same quality for a lot cheaper than the $4.49 they charge.

Even with the not so great expierence with the Nutra Oil I decided to try out the Softsoap Pure Cashmere. This one had a pink label and sounded better to me, because I imagine cashmere to be a soft product. This one had cashmere extracts as well as moisturizer and claims to "hydrate even the driest skin." This was not the case for me at all, no better than the nutra oil and even less scent. Disappointed with the Softsoap bodywashes I decided to try the next product, Dove Cream Oils.

There are three different types of the Dove Cream Oil. These were priced a little bit higher at $5.69 and I only started off with one, but eventually ended up buying all three scents.

First, you have your one for delicate skin, with the scent of Jasmine and Vanilla. I tried this one out first of the cream oils because the smell appealed to me the most. While it did its job of cleansing this is definitely for delicate skin and did not satisfiy my dry skin in the moisturizing department. Although for my 10 year old sister it worked perfectly. It did not agitate her skin and she said she absolutely loved the smell of the product.
