Just a few days later, another search was conducted in his hotel room. Before the officials searched his room, he threw four vials of Jintropin out the window. It's surprising that he had any more considering a search was already done on his luggage. Where did the other four vials come from?
There are still penalties for bringing this illegal substance into Australia. The maximum penalty is a fine of $91,500 and as long as five years in prison. However, Stallone only has to face a local court so that means he only faces up to a $18,000 fine on two counts.
By doing a quick Yahoo search, you can find out all about Jintropin. Jintropin is an HGH compound which means it's a Human Growth Hormone. It seems that this specific type of HGH is very popular in China. As much as 75% of all HGH sold in China is Jintropin. The makers of this compound claim you can get younger skin, improve hair growth, increase exercise performance, regenerate organs that are shrinking with age, and increase muscle mass. Surely 60 year old Sylvester Stallone wouldn't need this would he?
Stallone became famous after he starred in his well known 1976 film Rocky. This movie won a 1976 Academy Award for Best Picture believe it or not! Stallone actually wrote the script to this movie. After he watched an Ali-Chuck fight, he went home and was inspired to write the Rocky movie. He immediately went out to sell the script and wanted to play the lead role in the movie. Obviously, he succeeded!
And a success Rocky was. It only cost $1.1 Million dollars to make the movie and generated nearly $225 million dollars worldwide. After the success of this title, Stallone went on to make additional sequels to the franchise. Just recently Stallone starred in the latest Rocky installment titled Rocky Balboa.
