Do Children Who Are Less Attractive Suffer Socially?

The time that many parents seem to really fear is when their children start school. This is when children are divided up into both popular groups and unpopular groups. This topic is one that has definitely been debated greatly over the past few years. Especially when it comes to teachers treating children differently. Of course no teacher would admit to the fact that they are treating one child better than they are treating another child, but there are definitely times when you really have to wonder. Of course as long as the parents treat all of the children the same and no one is treated differently at home in the family then their really should not be any problems with any child suffering socially. There are even many adults who say that they constantly have to deal with this type of discrimination in the workplace. It always seems that those who are more attractive have more friends and are more popular than anyone else. Their have even been people who have claimed that they were passed over for promotions just because another person was more attractive. Of course that is really just their own opinion and they could not really prove otherwise.
