Salon facials can be quite costly, and who has the time to make an appointment, travel to a salon, wait for service, and sit through a time-consuming facial treatment? Although facials are a soothing luxury, the fact is, many working people don’t have time for a relaxing facial. There are several facial treatments that can be accomplished at home, and these home facial treatments can be done at a fraction of the cost of salon facial treatments. Giving yourself or a friend a home facial treatment saves time and money, and a home facial treatment can be just as soothing, relaxing, and as effective as an expensive salon facial treatment. There are a variety of home facial treatments for a variety of skin types, and these home facial treatments will provide surprising results to those who try them.
Deep Cleaning Facial Mask
You can give yourself a deep cleaning home facial treatment with a deep cleaning mask of milk of magnesia. This may seem like an odd product to use on the face, but milk of magnesia provides deep cleaning unlike any other product. Why spend a small fortune at an expensive salon when you can have a deep cleaning facial at home?
Apply milk of magnesia to the face and neck using cotton balls. Avoid the eyes, and clothing, and allow the milk of magnesia to remain on the face for approximately 10 minutes. Remove the milk of magnesia using a washcloth rinsed with warm water, pat your face dry, and apply your favorite moisturizer.
Relieving Facial Inflammation for Sensitive Skin
Those with sensitive skin often have problems finding products to relieve sensitivity and irritation. Sometimes products for sensitive skin don’t help relieve sensitivity and irritation at all. Facial products sometimes actually cause facial irritation, but you can do your own soothing facial treatment that will effectively relieve inflammation and soothe irritated facial skin.
