The Polio Vaccine, Part 3: Documented Contamination with Monkey Viruses

"There is no debate among scientists and physicians in government and industry that monkey viruses did, in fact, contaminate many lots of early killed and live polio vaccines used in experimental trials and in mass vaccination programs in the US between 1955 and 1963. There is continued debate about whether monkey viruses, some of which may be yet undetectable by current technology, have continued to contaminate live polio vaccines still grown on the kidney tissues of African green monkeys and administered to millions of children today." - Barbara Loe Fisher, Co-Founder and President, National Vaccine Information Center

What is SV-40?

SV-40 stands for Simian Virus #40. It is a virus originating in monkeys that can be passed onto humans. Substantial worldwide research has connected SV-40 with cancers, including brain cancer and one cancer. It has been found in both blood and semen samples and it is suspected that it can be transmitted sexually or from mother to child.

What is The Connection Between The Polio Vaccine and SV-40?

Jonas Salk's Polio vaccine was created with a live Polio virus cultivated in rhesus monkey kidney cells. In 1954, five companies were instructed to begin mass production of Salk's vaccine, with the National Institute of Health (NIH) set to test those vaccines and certify them as safe. Dr. Bernice Eddy was the head of the NIH laboratory in charge of these tests. The lab had 18 monkeys into which they injected the five vaccine samples for observation. The results were paralyzed monkeys. Dr. Eddy reported these results to her superiors, along with photographs of the paralyzed monkeys. In turn, the vaccine was publicly deemed safe and Dr. Eddy was reassigned.

The vaccine lot that caused the paralysis came from Cutter Labs, and caused the infamous spread of Polio in which over 100 recipients came down with poliomyelitis and 11 died. (source link )
