We waited for the initial opening weekend rush to go see this movie. The best time to go to the movies is on a Wednesday afternoon while kids are still in school. It was a long movie but they did a good job keeping the story moving as not to lose the audience's attention. We will give the movie grades in the following categories. Storyline, Casting, Cool Special Effects, Fight Scenes, Hot Chicks in Peril, Comic Relief.

1. Storyline - B
The storyline flowed nicely as a good extension of the first 2 movies. As I said before it was a long movie but I still felt like I didn't want it to end. I could have used a bathroom break but I was left wanting more. Which is not always a bad thing, especially if we get Spiderman 4!!!

2. Casting - A
The characters in previous movies did not change which is a wonderful thing since the casting has been awesome since day 1 of this trilogy. I could however nitpick about Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane. She just doesn't really knock me out. Mary Jane in the comics was always drawn as a megawatt beauty and she knew it. Kirsten is not quite there looks wise, but she does do a good job of pulling off the attitude of Mary Jane so I guess I can't complain too much. The new characters Eddie Brock/Venom, Flint Marko/Sandman, and Gwen Stacy were home runs in my opinion. I have always felt as a long time Spidey comic reader that Peter should have gotten with Gwen Stacy rather than MJ. More on this later

3. Cool Special Effects - B
As with the first 2 movies this one does not disappoint in this department. The transformation of Marko to Sandman was jaw dropping and tI feel the highlight of the movie. The scene with Peter shedding the black suit and it consequently finding the desolate Eddie Brock was quite enjoyable as well. This movie was not as effect heavy as the first 2. We had more interaction between the characters with focus on the human drama. I did however like the new web ball edition to Spidey's arsenal. Nice touch as he has used these in the comics for a long time.

I truly hope you didn't get paid for this... you didn't even get the title right. Fact checking is important
